I am an ITIL-qualified Project Manager at EPCC, with over 15 years of experience supporting the UK’s national HPC services. Currently, I am the Function Lead for the ARCHER2 CSE Service Desk and oversee the CSE in-depth support for Cirrus. I am also a member of the eCSE management team.

I joined EPCC in 2006 after completing the MSc in HPC at EPCC, the University of Edinburgh, and have since built experience through a variety of projects. My main interests include parallel programming, applications enabling, performance optimisation, and related areas.

I am currently managing the NG-ARCH project, working with the Met Office and other partners to prepare several key scientific software packages for the next generation of HPC architectures.

My previous project experience includes over a decade of involvement in the Pan-European HPC project, PRACE. During its multiple Implementation Phases (IPs), I led several collaborative tasks within the “Applications Enabling and Support” Work Package and managed the EPCC team in PRACE-4IP and PRACE-6IP. I also coordinated the Early Access Programme for the DEEP-EST project and the Application Reviews for multiple calls in HPC-Europa3.

I am engaged in various training activities at EPCC as well. In addition to supervising MSc students, I have been the coach for TeamEPCC, our student team to compete in the annual ISC Student Cluster Competitions, since 2013. Recently, I was responsible for organising training events in one of the UKRI-funded ExCALIBAR projects, PAX-HPC, to support skills development and enhance expertise within and beyond the project team.
